1 Why should I book with Bloomsbury Music?

2 How do I book a musician/group?

We believe that booking musicians should be as easy for you as possible. All you need to do is let us know what you are interested in and we’ll do the rest. If you’re not sure on the most suitable music for your event or just want some suggestions then just let us know and we can talk you through the options. Remember, we are happy to help and if you cannot see what you are looking for then please just contact us. Here’s a breakdown of the booking process:

3 What locations do you cover?

Bloomsbury Music is a UK based music agency with a talented roster of musicians spread across the United Kingdom and Europe. If you can’t find a musician/group in a certain location, just ask. 

4 Can I request a song/piece of music?

Of course, please just let us know if there is a particular song or piece of music that you would like performed by our musicians. We want you to have as much input as you like in the selection of music for your event and normally requests can be arranged given advanced notice. We should note that this is at the discretion of the individual musician/group.

5 What do the musicians require from me?

We will notify you of the musicians’ precise needs in advance of the event. Typically this will include chairs, access to power sockets, suitable shelter (if performing outside) and soft refreshments. For evening performances you may be asked to provide a meal.

6 How do I pay?

A deposit of 25% of the total fee is required within 3 days of your signature on the client contract to secure the booking. The balance of the fee is due (as cleared funds) 10 working days before the event. We accept BACS Transfer and Cheque (we do not accept card payments).

7 What is your policy on cancellations?

For cancellation up to 30 days before the event an administrative charge will be deducted from the deposit which shall be returned to you. For cancellation within 30 days before the event 30% of the remaining fees will be due in addition to the deposit which shall be non­refundable. For cancellation within 10 days of the event the full fee will be charged.
