Manchester based pianist Daria is an active solo performer and regularly appears in numerous festivals, Lichfield Festival and Buxton Festival to name a few. She gave solo recitals in venues such as Lotherton Hall (Leeds), St. Ann’s Church (Manchester), Emmanuel’s Church (Didsbury), Parish Center (Marple), Duffield (promoted by Bemrose Bursary), 5 solo lunchtime recitals in North of England, The Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London) among others.
In 2011, she performed the Concerto for Oboe, Piano and Orchestra by Martinu and “Ch’io mi scordi di te”, “Non temer amato bene” for Soprano, Piano and Orchestra at Emmanuel’s Church by Mozart. In 2009, she was soloist with Ukrainian National Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 3, in Kiev.
Daria has been awarded major prizes in piano competitions namely, Grand Prize at Ukrainian Competition for Young Pianists, International Young Pianist’s Competition in Italy, First Prize at the Verykovskaya Piano Competition (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004), as well as major prizes in the 2004 Golden Grain Piano Competition, Kiev. In addition to her numerous solo performances throughout Kiev, Daria has performed chamber music with various ensembles and accompanied numerous vocal recitals.
Daria performs throughout the UK, both background at private events and as a soloist for headline performances.
Daria can be hired for up to 3 hours of performance, additional times can be negotiated.
